Gamma Alpha Omicron Zeta Chapter is part of a much larger sisterhood that extends from our local community to Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated’s international organization. Each level helps connect our chapter to the Sorority’s broader mission, leadership, programs, and commitment to Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated — International
Founded on January 16, 1920, at Howard University in Washington, D.C., Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is an international, community-conscious, action-oriented organization with more than 125,000 members and hundreds of chapters across the United States and abroad. The Sorority is organized into eight intercontinental regions and continues to advance its founding principles through service, scholarship, leadership, advocacy, and sisterhood.
Atlantic Region
Gamma Alpha Omicron Zeta Chapter is a proud member of the Atlantic Region of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. Established in 1944, the Atlantic Region includes Pennsylvania along with chapters throughout several northeastern states and international locations. The Region provides leadership, programming, and support to chapters as they carry out the vision of the international organization and serve their respective communities.
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
Within the Atlantic Region, Gamma Alpha Omicron Zeta Chapter is part of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania Zetas have a rich history dating back to the early years of the Sorority and continue to promote Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood throughout communities across the Commonwealth. Gamma Alpha Omicron Zeta is one of Pennsylvania’s graduate chapters.
Mu Eta Chapter — Penn State University
Gamma Alpha Omicron Zeta Chapter proudly serves as the sponsoring graduate chapter for the Mu Eta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated at The Pennsylvania State University—University Park. Through this relationship, the Nittany Zetas support the undergraduate chapter as its members continue their collegiate Zeta journey, leadership development, service, scholarship, and sisterhood.

Together, these connections reflect the continuum of Zeta - from the undergraduate experience at Penn State, through graduate chapter membership in State College, to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Atlantic Region, and our international sisterhood.
